Two pair; ther is no way

During the lockdowns I was drawn to the accumulation and disposal of packaging from increased home delivery: all those empty cardboard boxes, plastic bags and fillers accumulating in our homes. 'Two pair; there is no away' comes from the body of work made from these empty packages, casting forms from their negative spaces, reusing this waste material, and translating it into uncanny references to domestic spaces, consumer products and the body.
It is a small reminder that when we discard things and throw them away, there is no 'away': only somewhere else, out of sight; usually where someone else, especially wildlife, lives.
