I wanted to create an artwork that appreciates the beauty and tranquility that can be found along the Cooks River. This piece is located near the Cooks River playground, and is somewhere I used to visit for some time alone. It was nice to return to capture it in my artwork. I feel the stillness of the water and crisp reflection embodies the peaceful, calming energy given off by this natural landscape.
