I'm currently exploring the weaving of worlds through the combination of intricate beadwork and gifts from nature that I find. This piece is an homage to the native bees of the Cooks River and the importance of protecting this urban landscape for their survival. I individually designed and hand wove the beaded centre piece, and incorporated it with my natural fibre weaving, creating a symbolic home for my bee.
