This artwork is about climate change. It isn't a negative story but rather it celebrates how nature changes and adapts. Along the Cooks River and Greenway vegetation; although not solely native, has thrived with the increase in rain fall and heat as an outcome of climate change to create a lush, beautiful and more tropical ecology. This will benefit many of the ecological fragments remaining in the Inner West and Canterbury-Bankstown Areas. I found this to be a reminder of the power of nature to adapt and thrive.
