Ripples in the Mangroves

We were walking near the mangroves on our way to play at Steel Park. My little brother started throwing some pebbles into the water near the mangroves. I liked the way the water would ripple out like a vibration and then be still again. It was the same as us shouting out and playing, making loud noises and then being quiet again and only hearing the birds and sometimes the airplanes. The Cooks River is a peaceful place that can also be full of activity. When we walk by its like a vibration of movement and sound and then when we are gone it is quiet and calm again.
