Tracking Gold My imaginary person glides over the inviting foreshore with the lightness of a bird and agility of a possum exploring the lush flora and fauna. A corridor links the Parramatta River at Iron Cove to the Cooks River at Canterbury and provides a pathway of beauty and adventure where children and adults play, exercise and discover these peaceful surroundings. My canvas is raw, showing the warp and weft of its making, reminiscent of this land and people woven together forming a tapestry of life, I add colour and imagination to the centre and a little smoke to hide the gold at the end of a tunnel.
