My work is a celebration of the often overlooked beauty in the natural world, inviting viewers to slow down and notice the details around them. I create imagined bugs using found flora and fauna around the Greenway, carefully crafting them by hand and photographing each one before the materials perish. These small creations encourage a closer look, reflecting the delicate balance and fleeting nature of our environment. By using natural materials that are often ignored, I highlight the importance of appreciating and protecting the world around us. Each bug is an imaginative creation, inspired not by real insects, but by the endless possibilities nature offers. Through my art, I aim to spark awareness of environmental fragility and inspire deeper connections with the natural world, encouraging others to pause, observe, and take action to preserve the beauty that surrounds us.
