My artwork shows the contrast between the imposed, structured built environment creating perfect perspective lines and the natural world that moves beyond its boundaries, creating its own paths of desire: oysters colonising the canal banks; birds creating flight paths; she-oaks growing out of the banks; humans making short cuts in the grass; and lichen growing on bridge railings.
