Plastic Reflection

I’m a thirteen-year-old artist, and I’ve always been worried about the environment. Recently, I went for a walk with my parents along Iron Cove Creek and noticed a dark-coloured duck swimming next to a large plastic bottle floating in the water. I immediately captured this photo so I could use it for inspiration. This image sparked my creativity to show the contrast between the beauty of nature and the ugliness of pollution. The scene struck me because it also shows how human activity can harm wildlife. I wanted to show the difference between nature and pollution to help raise awareness about why protecting our environment is so important. Through my artwork, I hope to encourage people to reduce plastic waste and keep our natural world beautiful for future generations.
