My practice focuses on taking familliar scenes - in this case the gorgeous Greenway on a winter morning - and lovingly hand-painting new stories into that moment. Here we come across a pair of witchetty grubs, interrupting some sort of shenannigans. These 'monsters', just for a moment, help us imagine an alternate universe that exists in parallel to our own and hopefully we never look at the world in the same way again.
