My painting is of the GreenWay path south of Marion Street. I decided to paint it because it is my favourite part of the GreenWay. I love the way the sunlight comes through the leaves of the trees and creates patches of light on the path. I also love how the fig trees always keep it cool and shaded even in the middle of summer. My family and I enjoy walking our dog and riding our bikes along the path.
